Where’s Bexx creates cinematic content for glamping resorts, lodges and boutique hotels, but the original site, built on a Wix template, gave no sense of it. We rebuilt it from scratch in custom code as an immersive, animated portfolio that matches the caliber of the photography inside it, made it effortless to add new work, and we maintain it as the brand grows.

The Challenge
The original site did its job and nothing more. Built from a Wix template, it was static, sparse and generic, using the same layout thousands of other creators were using. For a brand whose entire pitch is cinematic, immersive content, a flat grid of images read as unprofessional. Worse, the template set a ceiling: anything genuinely custom meant fighting the builder, and adding new work was a chore rather than a habit.
The Approach
- Leave the builder behind. Rebuilt from zero in custom code so nothing about the design is limited by a template’s rules.
- Make it move. A cinematic video hero, scroll-driven reveals, drag-to-explore galleries and layered service cards that animate as you move down the page.
- Sell the feeling, not the service list. Full-bleed photography and short, confident copy that does the work a long services page used to.
- Build it to keep growing. A structure that takes new galleries, new clients and a full rebrand without a redesign.
The Outcome
The site now opens the way the content does: full-screen video, then a slow reveal into the work. It reads as a creative studio rather than a personal page, which matters when the people landing on it are resort and hotel decision-makers. Because it’s custom-coded, it keeps moving: new photography, new client work and the Where’s Bexx rebrand all drop straight in, and we maintain it so it never falls behind.
